Terri Rossi was originally an engineer with GE Appliances in Louisville many years ago.  Terri  moved to Decatur almost 20 years ago when her husband Tom became the Plant Manager at GE in Decatur. (fun fact that is 4 times longer than anywhere else she has ever lived!)

Throughout the years in Decatur Terri has been involved with many organizations.  Originally most of her involvement was at the school level.  She was president of the Chestnut Grove PTA a long time ago (longer than she will admit)  Terri was also involved in the Austin High Booster Club for many years both as an officer (programs and treasurer) and a sports representative (Cross Country, Track and Boys Soccer)  Now that her children are grown Terri has been President of the Volunteer Center of Morgan County for the past two years.  She also paints for Habitat for Humanity and volunteers at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

Terri is one of the founding members of the Southwest of the Border Crewe (SWOTB) which is a charter Crewe of Carnegie Carnival.  SWOTB was started by a group of friends on the Southwest side of town (hence the name) Our float resembles a hacienda from the Southwestern USA and our mascot is Amigo because everyone needs a friend when they move into a new area.

Terri and Tom have two children Amy and Michael who are grown and out in the world.  Amy is a teacher in Charleston SC and Michael is a biomedical engineer in Huntsville.  They also have two impossibly spoiled dogs  Sarah and Layla

The Carnegie Visual Arts Center is a great asset to the city of Decatur and Terri is proud to run for Queen and raise money for the Carnegie!
