Catherine McWhorter is the daughter of Katie and Shane McWhorter. As a senior at Priceville High School, she takes great pride in being the National Honor Society President, Senior Class Vice President, Yearbook Editor, and an Alabama Future Business Leaders of America state officer, serving as the District 1 Vice President. In her local clubs, she enjoys demonstrating her abstract knowledge in Scholars’ Bowl, tutoring other students through Mu Alpha Theta, and exploring plots in Book Club. Catherine has no shortage of aspirations, drive, and creativity; however, she may have an extreme shortage in the sleep department. Outside of academics and extracurriculars, she spends her time overworking her Cricut to make crafts, hanging out with her family, and helping out when she can around her church. Catherine believes that the best part of life is making someone remember their worth and smile, so she is honored to have the opportunity to work with Carnegie Arts and CASA this winter.
